wombat life: February 2008

15th February was my company so called Sales appreciation dinner. Being new in the company, I was "arrowed" to be the committee member for the dinner. Our group was in charge of the whole nite event and it was a Casino nite..... all nite was all about gambling and the dinner was held at butter factory in Robertson Quay.... I must say the nite was fun and all these pictures were taken after the whole event and it was time for me to drink drink drink!!!!!!! Yippee.... some photos taken approx 10 plus in the nite... where the gals were still sober.... starts from the left we have Agnes (My miss blury frend aka Miss DUN KNOW who is who in the company), Sabrina aka Ms Xenon, Caroline aka Ms "gao mei" and of me aka Ms Ah Gua..... hehehehe

Please everyone............ do no misunderstand this one here..... he (Danny) purposely carried me offguard and plan this shot........... reason...... they can blackmail me with herman..... sigh... see how my colleagues are.......... blackmailers...............

Now for this next coming shot, i m sure some of u had seen me limping and crawling for the past few days..... story goes like this....

The nite went on well with games and becos it was a casino nite... my company actually exchange money to chips for our colleagues to enjoy the games using chips and therefore... the winnings, we got to change it to cash behind the backdoor of the club... so cool rite.. juz like those geylang illegal gambling dens.... coming to approx 11pm, Ben, my colleague actually had won $700 plus from a $50 chip.... next thing, he had all his chips inside a big bowl and wanted to cash out the money.... on the other side.... i was happily chit chatting with someone at the dancefloor telling him that finally i can get myself drunk tonite and we can start drinking (since the rest were all so drunk with the freeflow of drinks)............... next thing... from the other side of the dancefloor, i heard someone shouted... jo........ i turned around, next thg.... i saw Ben tripped over a step on the platform, couldn't hold his balance, he flew directly towards me and landed on the floor... all i could remember was immediately there was a sharp pain on my kneecap and blood was everywhere.... everyone came to our aid and i realised i was carried to the sofa... it was so painful on my kneecap and i couldn't stand straight anymore.... Ben was badly cut on his fingers as his hands landed on the glass pieces on the floor... i was really lucky in a way that none of the shattered pieces hit me... only he landed on my kneecap and it fell direct on the kneecap... since then.. it becomes like this.... TIAN AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY ME?????????????? am really accident prone man......

Sigh... been so long i had never log in or bother to write much cos I m so lost in my job... lost contacts with all my friends and dropped into this big pool of shit circle.... finally i m back... not becos of wat but becos i m on medical leave due to some accident which happened to me during my company D&D nite... will update on this tmr.

Anyway..... I guessed most of my friends had spent their valentine's day differently, some in anger some in sweet sweet love.... for me.... everything came in as a surprise...

Been married for 3 years and Herman, being Herman the Mr Rock, has never ever given me any flowers before. The first time he gave me flowers was back then when i told him i like him and ask him to make a decision between me or the other gal he was after.....

If i can remember correctly, herman said he won't give me flowers at all until the day i die on my funeral.... i was just complaining to someone over the phone that i got no flowers no presents for valentine day and suddenly Herman appeared with a bouquet of flowers rite in front of me!!!!!!!!!! I was thrilled!!! Next thing becos my sister happened to be in my place immediately i jump to conclusion that herman actually took my sister's flower to disturb me.... no matter how hard he explain i simply dun believe that he got me flowers.... only until i called Elise that i realise that Herman actually called her boyfriend to see where can he get flowers for me.......... so touching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean if it is somebody else.. there is nothing much to be touched abt... but if u guys knw herman well........ he will nvr do such a thing... even my mum who came by and visit me today was shocked that herman did such a stupid thing... anyway....... watever it is... i m still very happy and touched by herman this time.... took some pictures with mink and stout... do enjoy it..........
